Gadget Guy –
I am forever finding that my various gadgets seem to get separated from their power bricks. I like to keep at least one of these around as it’s almost universal with 7 “barrel” style plug tips that cover most common connections along with the ability to select 6 different voltages from 3 to 12 volts. Not sure when I’d use it, but it even has the ability for the user to switch polarity though I haven’t needed to do that yet. So far I’ve used it with an outdoor speaker, an LED photo light and to charge an older camera. The long cord comes in handy for some uses (like the outdoor speaker), but is not so bulky that it get in the way when you don’t need a long cord. Having this type of adapter gives new life to devices that would otherwise end up in the trash.
